An important part of our third act, On3, is to listen to users, review the data and improve all areas of the business. Admittedly, our team can do a much better job engaging with customers and improving user experience than we have done in the past.  On3’s service level is at the forefront of our minds as we begin this new venture.

Our team has identified the following areas at launch that will significantly enhance user experience and On3’s service level.

  1. No ads for annual subscribers
Annual On3+ subscribers will not see any advertisements on the digital site. (Hard coded sponsorships of content franchises and products will appear from time to time.)

  2. Minimum ads per page
On3 is built on a “session duration model” which means very limited ads on each page – typically between 3-4 impressions. Again, annual On3+ members do not get ads on the site.

  3. No content recommendation deals/promos
We strive to hire the best talent and editors to protect the On3 brand and the brands of our fan site network. We will not be doing any deals with content recommendation companies. It is our goal to populate our pages with only high-quality content and premium advertisers and sponsors. (Note: Kentucky Sports Radio (KSR) has previous deals with a content recommendation engine, making it the only fan site brand with these ads.)

  4. No video player in articles unless the video is about the actual article
We have plans to create and aggregate video for all our many sites and partners. However, we will not be posting video in articles that is not directly related to the article.

  5. No Slideshows
On3 is all about rankings and entertaining lists. However, we will publish in standard article pages rather than force users to click through multiple page slideshows.

  6. Super fast site
Site speed has always been the goal – especially with the mobile site. We have architected the On3 platform from inception with speed as one of the highest priorities. Our initial release has produced a very fast-loading site. We will continue to prioritize speed going forward as we expand the platform with more products.

  7. On3 licensed the best message board and content management systems (CMS)
We’ve spent 25+ years building message boards and content management systems. I always felt we nailed our CMS, but struggled to keep up in message board enhancements. With On3, we decided to license the best message board platform in the world and integrate it into our platform. We’ve also licensed a world-class CMS. Once we get through the initial 90-day platform integration phase, this decision will allow us to devote almost all of our engineering resources to building our player database and networking product

  8. Cancel subscriptions online instantly
Users can cancel any membership online at any time of the day or night without going through the hurdles of emails or calls to a customer service group (located in user settings).

Thanks for your support.
