The South Carolina women’s basketball team got all it wanted from Indiana in the Sweet 16 on Friday. The Gamecocks led by as many as 22 points at one point in the second half, before having to survive for a 79-75 victory. Up next, South Carolina will face Oregon State, which held off Notre Dame 70-65 to advance to the Elite Eight.
South Carolina is one win away from advancing to the Final Four for the fourth straight year, while Oregon State is looking to reach the Final Four for the first time since 2016. Here’s what you need to know before the Gamecocks and Beavers tip off:

Odds for South Carolina vs. Oregon State
The Gamecocks looked vulnerable at times against Indiana, but Dawn Staley‘s club is still heavily favored entering its Elite Eight matchup against Oregon State.
DraftKings has South Carolina favored by 14.5 points heading into the matchup. The Gamecocks are -1650 favorites on the money line, while betting on Oregon State pays out at +950. As for the over-under, it is set at 135 points.
It looked as if South Carolina might roll to a national title with the way it was playing early on in the NCAA Tournament. The Gamecocks won their first two games by a combined 99 points and led by 22 points early in the second half against IU.
However, the Gamecocks turned the ball over 12 times, gave up more offensive rebounds than they got and allowed Indiana to knock down 13 3-pointers.
Point guard Raven Johnson came up big down the stretch to help secure the win and keep the Gamecocks undefeated. Johnson went 3-for-3 from 3-point range against the Hoosiers, including drilling one with 53 seconds left to push the lead to five.
Teams played off Johnson last season, daring her to shoot. They can’t do that this year.
“I’m very proud of myself because a lot of people don’t know what I went through last year and a lot of people would have quit basketball,” Johnson said. “I’m just proud of myself and how I faced adversity. And I’m just glad this season I’m showing people what I a really do.”
Now Johnson and South Carolina are one win away from another trip to the Final Four.
