2025 quarterback George MacIntyre is back on Tennessee’s campus less than 48 hours away from announcing his commitment decision at Brentwood Academy on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. Central time.

MacIntyre is expected to take in Tennessee’s basketball game today against Alabama with the Volunteers staff and other recruits who were able to make it into town despite the inclement weather.

MacIntyre announced his commitment plans on Friday afternoon and is expected to decide between Alabama, LSU and Tennessee on Monday morning.

MacIntyre has been a frequent visitor on Rocky Top and was most recently in town in November when Tennessee hosted Georgia. His relationship with Josh Heupel has always been an important factor for the Vols in this recruitment.

He is a very personable guy,” MacIntyre told Volquest in November. “We have been around each other a lot ever since they started recruiting me more than a year ago. He has come to our school a lot and I’ve come here a lot so we have been around each other for sure. The biggest thing is he has been there, done that. He has been a quarterback at the highest level and he knows how to coach them. That’s a big addition to recruiting in knowing he has been there and done that.”
