The nation’s No. 2 tight end has made an adjustment to his summer official visit schedule.

Goodland (Kan.) four-star tight end Linkon Cure will now take an official visit to Kansas the weekend of May 31. He will not take his previously scheduled visit to Penn State that weekend.

That Kansas trip is in addition to official visits to Texas A&M (June 7), Oregon (June 14) and Kansas State (June 21).

Cure is the nation’s No. 33 overall prospect, No. 2 tight end and No. 2 recruit from Kansas in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Cure recently visited Texas A&M, K-State and Oregon

He visited Texas A&M last weekend and told On3 that he feels close with offensive coordinator Collin Klein and loves what first-year head coach Mike Elko is building.

“I love the relationships I have with the staff!” Cure said. “I love the culture and absolutely love where the program is headed. The coaches want to coach for each other and players want to play for each other.

“I loved my time there. You can feel the energy.”

Cure also visited Kansas State and Oregon in April. On his trip to Manhattan:

“The visit was amazing. I loved every bit of it,” Cure told K-State Online. “We started out at practice and I got to talk with a lot of people and watch practice. I really enjoyed that.”

He was able to speak with K-State tight ends coach Brian Lepak.

“In the meeting we mostly went over film and it was very educational,” he said. “Then we had meetings with nutrition and strength training and that was really informative. Then I had a meeting with Coach [ChrisKlieman and that is always enjoyable.”

Cure returned to Eugene for Oregon’s spring game at the end of April.

“The environment was amazing and I loved every bit of my time there,” Cure said. “You can really feel the culture of the program! Everything excites me about the Ducks! I absolutely love it!”
