Former Georgia State running back Domonique Thomas has committed to Ole Miss, via the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

After spending two seasons at Clemson, Thomas initially committed to Georgia State in the transfer portal on Dec. 20, 2023. However, Thomas re-opened his recruitment on April 16 and has now found a home with the Rebels.

Thomas began his time at Clemson as a walk-on in 2022. Nonetheless, Thomas carved out a role for himself in the 2023 campaign, making 12 appearances. He finished the season with 18 rushing attempts for 116 yards and a touchdown, averaging 6.4 yards per carry.

Domonique Thomas played high school football at Ohatchee High School (Ala.), where he was an unranked prospect in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Thomas is the 21st player Ole Miss has added in the transfer portal during or since the 2023 campaign. The team has also lost 23 players, ultimately landing at No. 3 in On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings.

Ole Miss lands commitment from former Miami RB Henry Parrish Jr.

Thomas isn’t the only running back Ole Miss has recently added via the transfer portal. On April 22, former Miami running back Henry Parrish Jr. committed to the Rebels. Parrish is no stranger to Oxford, Miss.

Parrish started his career at Ole Miss, playing for the Rebels in 2020 and 2021, before transferring to Miami. Parrish compiled more than 1,000 all-purpose yards during his first stint with the Rebels.

He led the Hurricanes in rushing each of the past two seasons, before announcing plans to enter the transfer portal on March 19. During his first season at Miami in 2022, Parrish was named third-team All-ACC after appearing in 10 games. He rushed for 616 yards, while averaging 4.7 yards per carry.

As a junior in 2023, Henry Parrish appeared in 10 games, making five starts. He rushed for 625 yards, while averaging nearly 6.3 yards per carry.

Parrish is originally from Goulds, Florida and attended Christopher Columbus High School. He was ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 257 overall player in the country in the class of 2020, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
