Baylor offensive lineman Bryce Simpson has entered the NCAA transfer portal. He spent the past two seasons with the Bears but will now look elsewhere to continue his college career.

Simpson redshirted his true freshman season in 2022 after committing to Baylor as a three-star prospect out of Cy Ranch High School in Cypress, Texas. He ranked as the No. 953 overall player and No. 72 offensive tackle in the 2022 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Standing 6-foot-5 and 304 pounds, Simpson has the size needed to contribute as a tackle wherever he decides to transfer. Although he wasn’t able to find many opportunities at Baylor, he still has plenty of time to make the most of his remaining eligibility.

Bryce Simpson is the fourth Baylor offensive lineman to enter the transfer portal this offseason. The Bears have lost 11 players total while bringing in 10 this offseason to rank No. 51 overall and No. 7 in the Big 12 according to On3’s Team Transfer Portal Rankings.
