Playing football at both the collegiate and professional level can cause heartbreak in many ways. For former Texas Longhorns and current Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson, one heartbreak cuts deep.

During a recent interview on Bussin’ With The Boys, Robinson revealed how painful it is for him to know that he will never be in an NCAA college football game, specifically the upcoming EA Sports College Football 25.

“I’m heartbroken like I was two years off…,” said Robinson.

While revealing his cruel, tragic fate, one of the podcast’s co-hosts, Will Compton, points out that there is a possibility that he could still be in the game as a potential legendary Texas running back. Either way, Robinson is not allowing his possible lack of inclusion in the game to impact him copping a copy and playing it when it finally releases.

“It comes out in July? … I’m going to be stuck on that game. I’m a gamer; I’m a sports gamer– I love FIFA; I love 2K. Madden, I’m okay at, but UFC, that’s my stuff right there.”

The Falcons’ star running back still gets the opportunity to see himself in pixelated action with EA Sports NFL franchise video game Madden. However, as he admitted, he’s not as skilled on the sticks for that game. Robinson might not be a part of the EA Sports College Football 25 roster initially, but there is another way he could possibly see himself sued up for the Longhorns again. All he has to do is pop over to the created player menu (if there is one) and add himself into the game that way. The best part about that is that Robinson will be in complete control of his ratings and can make himself however he sees fit.

Robinson reveals he wants to be an actor after playing career

Earlier in the interview, Robinson also revealed that he is looking to get into acting after he retires from the NFL.

“For me, I love to do other stuff, so I want to be an actor when I’m done playing football one day,” Robinson said. “I’ve been doing acting classes, but those acting classes been helping for the interview training because it gets you comfortable in talking to coaches and gets you comfortable in being in different areas with a lot of people in one setting.”

Robinson won’t be the first NFL star to make the jump to acting. NFL legend Jim Brown retired from the NFL after playing in the league for nine seasons before appearing in multiple movies in TV shows. Three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is currently working as an actor and producer, appearing in films such as Sylvie’s Love and The Good Nurse. Pro Football Hall of Famer Alex Karras is known for appearing in the film Blazing Saddles and the hit TV show Webster.
