NASCAR’s Championship Weekend will return to Phoenix Raceway in 2025, according to a release from the organization.

The Cup Series championship race is set for a November 2nd date. Phoenix Raceway’s been the host of the NASCAR Championship Weekend since 2020.

It’s where the sport crowns the best drivers in all three of its national series.

“Our fans are the heart and soul of Phoenix Raceway, and they create an unforgettable atmosphere for NASCAR Championship Weekend,” said Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey. “They fill the grandstands and hillside and pack the GEICO Gecko Campground, which is nothing short of the best camping experience in all of NASCAR.”

The Phoenix announcement was the latest in schedule reveals for the 2025 season. NASCAR also announced it would televise a bracket-style, in-season tournament during TNT Sports’ portion of the 2025 schedule.

That kicks off June 28 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

As part of NASCAR’s historic media rights deal, NBC Sports will join FOX Sports, Amazon’s Prime Video and TNT Sports (a division of Warner Bros. Discovery) in providing live coverage of all 38 Cup Series races beginning in 2025 and running through 2031.

NASCAR to broadcast ‘exclusive, full season live coverage’

As NASCAR moves towards a broadcasting deal with Warner Brothers Discovery and TNT Sports in 2025, some exciting news has been announced.

A press release went out on Wednesday, shared to X by FOX’s Bob Pockrass, regarding the future of in-car streams during races. Evidently, Warner Brothers Discovery’s Max streaming service will “have exclusive full season live coverage of in-car cameras from all the NASCAR Cup Series races starting in 2025.”

“For those who have been watching the in-car streams from NASCAR’s website, this was announced today by Warner Brothers Discovery: Max streaming service will have exclusive full season live coverage of in-car cameras from all the NASCAR Cup Series races starting in 2025,” Pockrass posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“… The in-car coverage during telecasts is separate from the digital in-car camera that has been used on the streams. Select cars would still have in-car cameras for telecast as far as I know.”
