ULM defensive lineman Adin Huntington has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Spending three seasons at Kent State and one as a Warhawk, Huntington had a career year in 2023 during his lone season at ULM. He totaled 8.5 sacks and three forced fumbles to go with 28 solo tackles playing on the defensive line.

He was able to showcase his skills on a national stage late last season which saw ULM take on Ole Miss on the road. They would lose 35-3, but Huntington was a problem for the Rebels offensive line throughout the game. Despite their best efforts and ultimately containing him to just two tackles, he did record one of his 8.5 sacks on Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart.

The most impressive performance of his ULM career came during a Week 2 matchup against Lamar University where he recorded a whopping 14 tackles to go with half a sack. When it came to chasing quarterbacks, he logged two or more sacks in three different contests.

In four total seasons of college football, Huntington has totaled 107 tackles, 11.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and four pass breakups. Most of that came during his sophomore and seniors seasons, as his freshman and junior seasons saw him combine for 11 tackles.

Notably, he posted several personal bests in the weight room during his time as a Warhawk. He lifted 665 pounds on the squat rack, 435 on the bench press, 4.44 in the Pro Agility as well as a 38-inch vertical jump at 6 foot 1, 281 pounds. For reference of how insane that is, LeBron James has a 44-inch vertical.

He will have one season of eligibility remaining to play for whichever team lands his services this offseason.

The Stafford, VA native held offers from the likes of James Madison out of high school. He flew mostly under the radar having been the 2,799 recruit in the 2020 recruiting cycle, per the On3 Industry Rankings, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.

However, he has bolstered his name-value a bit more in college. At the time of his portal entry, he checked in one of the top defensive lineman in the nation, per his On3 College Ratings. He’ll look to continue that success at his next stop.
