It's not a hot take. The point is Beck is going to get the benefit of the doubt because he's a good College QB who fits the archetype. All those guys I named fit the same bill.

Beck’s skill set seems very Mac Jones-ish. He hasn’t had the kind of season Mac had in 2020 yet though. Interested to see what Beck does this year. Even though he was in the same signing class as Bryce, his rookie year will be Bryce’s 3rd year. In other words, if Beck has those traits, he’d better light CFB on fire this year.

I don’t necessarily think he will, nor do I really care as long as Milroe is 2-0 against Napoleon DynaBeck after this year. Some think he will though, fvckboiiiii.
