2025 QB Jackson Kollock commits to Washington

Laguna Beach (Calif.) three-star quarterback Jackson Kollock has committed to Washington.

He chose the Huskies while also holding offers from the likes of Colorado, California and Minnesota.

Kollock is the No. 574 overall prospect and No. 51 QB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 55 player in California.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder took a game visit to see the Huskies on Oct. 14, leading into his pledge. Over the summer, he had also taken visits to UCLA, Miami and Penn State. Kollock is Washington’s first pledge in the 2025 class.

He does not currently have an On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Huskies building top-40 recruiting class in 2024 cycle

While Kollock kicks off Kalen DeBoer’s pledge list in the 2025 cycle, Washington is trying to put the finishing touches on a top-40 class in 2024.

The Huskies’ current class features 14 commitments and ranks No. 38 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking. The class is headlined by a quintet of four-star prospects: Los Angeles Birmingham wide receiver Peyton Waters, Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial EDGE Noah Carter, Hesperia (Calif.) Oak Hills interior offensive lineman Paki Finau, Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian WR Justice Williams and Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph defensive lineman Dominic Kirks.

Waters leads the way as the No. 248 overall prospect and No. 45 wideout in the cycle. He joined Carter, Williams and Kirks as June pledges for the Huskies.

“On my official visit, I got that feeling that Washington was where I needed to be. They have everything: academics, the football program develops guys, and it really has strong family feel with everyone connected and wanting to work hard,” Waters told On3 upon his commitment. “I did my research on all of these schools on my list and it came down to the feel. It was unmatched at Washington.”

Other top commitments for Washington in the 2024 class include Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall three-star safety Joshua Lair, San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) Hills three-star WR Jason Robinson and Upland (Calif.) Etiwanda three-star QB Dermaricus Davis.
