Report: Tom Brady apologized to Gisele Bündchen for roast jokes that 'offended' her
Tom Brady reached out to his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen following the roast that featured jokes about their marriage. According to Us Weekly, the seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback apologized to Bündchen for what was said about her during the live Netflix event.
“She thinks her new relationship should have been off-limits. Tom did reach out to Gisele to apologize to her,” a source told Us Weekly. “They are cordial and only communicate about the kids.”
The source also expressed how upset the supermodel was about the roast of Brady. “Gisele and Tom had a ‘no disparaging remarks’ rule when it came to speaking about each other or their marriage and divorce. She is definitely offended and upset about the comments made at the roast,” the source said.
Bündchen “is aware that it comes with the territory of a roast but didn’t think there were going to be that many remarks made about her and especially her new relationship” with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, according to the source. A second insider also spoke to Us Weekly about Brady not knowing what was going to be said during the roast.
The insider said, “Just like with any roast, neither Tom nor any of the participants knew what was going to be said about them” ahead of time. “But as with any roast, they target public parts of your life,” the source continued. “Their kids were always off limits. Everything was all in good fun.”

Brady and Bündchen filed for divorce in October 2022. The two share son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, and Brady shares son Jack, 16 with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Brady stated at the time of the divorce. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. “With much gratitude, for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce,” Bündchen said. “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children who I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve.”
