The Alabama Crimson Tide have made another massive addition to their 2025 class.

On late Friday night, Cocoa (Fla.) High School EDGE Javion Hilson announced his commitment to Alabama. It marks the second consecutive month in which a top-five EDGE has committed to Nick Saban‘s program. In-state target Zion Grady joined Bama’s 2025 class on Nov. 12.

Hilson committed to Alabama over an offer sheet that included Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Texas, and several others. He is the ninth player to join the Tide’s 2025 class, which has now added a commitment in four consecutive months.

Per the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings, Hilson is the No. 34 overall junior prospect in the country. He also checks in as the No. 3 EDGE and the fourth-ranked player in the state of Florida in his class.

Alabama currently holds the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, per the On3 Industry Rankings. The group also features five-star wide receivers Jamie Ffrench and Ryan Williams, top-five running back Anthony Rogers, and four-star offensive linemen Dontrell Glover and Mason Short.

On defense, Hilson is joined by some talented prospects in the 2025 class. Along with Hilson, Bama holds a commitment from the aforementioned Grady. They also earned pledges from top-25 linebacker Myles Johnson and Saraland High School defensive lineman Antonio Coleman earlier in the fall.
