“Girdron has shown the ability to separate at all levels, both on Friday nights and in the camp setting,” said Charles Power, Director of Scouting and Rankings for On3 “The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder is a functional mover with change of direction and top end speed. He proved to be a tough cover at Under Armour’s Charlotte camp and recently took home state titles in the 100 meters (10.70 seconds) and 200 meters (21.63 seconds).”
As a reminder, the On3 rankings are produced by On3’s own in-house scouts and are different than the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average of the four major recruiting media sites.
Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe four-star safety J’Zavien Currence checks in at No. 2 in the state in the latest On3 update. The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder is ranked the No. 97 overall prospect in the class and the No. 9 safety. He is the top Palmetto State prospect in the class in the On3 Industry Ranking.
