3-star QB Kasen Weisman commits to Colorado
Douglasville (Ga.) South Paulding three-star quarterback Kasen Weisman has committed to Colorado. He chose the Buffaloes after backing off his pledge to Kansas on National Signing Day.
Weisman is the No. 1,249 overall prospect and No. 69 quarterback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 119 player in Georgia.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound signal-caller chose head coach Deion Sanders and his staff after an official visit to Boulder. It occurred on the weekend of Dec. 17.
“It was very very good,” Weisman told On3’s Jeremy Johnson on Dec. 21. “The coaching staff there is a lead. The school is absolutely beautiful and the education is top-tier.”

“Coach Prime is about to shock the world at Colorado,” he added. “I think it was a good move on his part if you are a recruit he knows what it takes to make it and a lot of the guys on the staff do too.”
Weisman has an On3 NIL Valuation of $46K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
