Florida safety Miguel Mitchell plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Mitchell has spent the past two seasons with the Gators, appearing in 24 games and making eight starts (all in the 2023 season). In his Florida career he’s recorded 52 tackles, two pass breakups, an interception, and a forced fumble.

Mitchell played high school football at Oxford (AL), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 989 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
