Kentucky RHP Zach Hise enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
Kentucky right-handed pitcher Zach Hise has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. Hise spent two seasons at Kentucky. He began his career at Missouri, where he played two years.
In his two seasons at Kentucky, Hise made 16 appearances, tallying 17 total innings pitched. In his limited time on the mound, Hise allowed 15 hits against 85 batters. Additionally, Hise notched 14 strikeouts compared to 11 walks.

Hise spent two seasons at Missouri but was only active in one of them. He missed the 2022 campaign after suffering an arm injury. In his true freshman season in 2021, Hise made 16 appearances and 11 starts for the Tigers. He collected 58 innings on the mound, striking out 47 batters while walking 28.
Zach Hise played high school baseball at Joliet Catholic Academy (IL). He was the No. 300 overall prospect and No. 103 RHP in the 2020 recruiting cycle, per Perfect Game.

Hise did not make any appearances in the NCAA Tournament for Kentucky this past season. The Wildcats were one of eight teams to reach the College World Series. It was the first time Kentucky had reached the CWS in program history.
Kentucky ultimately fell to Florida 15-4 in Game 10 of the prestigious event. Now, Hise will search for a new home across the college baseball landscape.
