David Pollack describes Jordon Hudson as 'a hot honey walking the sidelines' at North Carolina

One of the most intriguing storylines in college football is taking place at North Carolina with former NFL coach Bill Belichick taking over the Tar Heels. But much of the talk this offseason hasn’t been about football, but rather Belichick’s relationship with girlfriend Jordon Hudson.
Much has been made of the age gap between the two — Belichick is 72 while Hudson is 24 — and how much control Hudson in the coach’s professional life. It’s caused a lot of opinions from a lot of different people in the sports world.
David Pollack was the latest to weigh in on the matter in a recent episode of his podcast, See Ball Get Ball. The former Georgia player had an interesting way of describing Hudson, to say the least, when previewing the 2025 season for UNC.
“I have no clue what to expect from Chapel Bill except a hot honey walking the sidelines,” he said. “That’s all I know is gonna happen.”
Public interest began to surge into the relationship between Belichick and Hudson after a CBS interview aired in which she shut down a question as to how the couple met. TMZ later reported that people within the program at Chapel Hill were concerned about the influence that Hudson had over Belichick.
This came after reports that Belichick had requested that Jordon Hudson be added to an email chain among leaders within the program. Belichick later explained that she did not have a role with the football team, but was in charge of handling his “personal opporutnities” such as speaking engagements.

Regardless, it’s a story that has taken the country by storm and grabbed the attention of a lot of talking heads. That includes Pollack, who couldn’t help but to mention it even when just talking ball.
David Pollack believes Max Johnson will get along with Bill Belichick
To be fair, most of Pollack’s answer was actually about the product on the field rather than Jordon Hudson. He wondered about the quarterback battle between Max Johnson and incoming transfer Gio Lopez.
Pollack had high praise for Johnson, who is coming off of a season-ending injury after winning the starting job last year. The former LSU and Texas A&M QB could be the perfect fit for Belichick’s system, Pollack believes.
“UNC with Bill Belichick, what is he going to be? Who’s gonna be their quarterback?” Pollack wondered. “I know they paid a bunch of money to a kid from (South Alabama), and that’s fine. But Max Johnson, who’s coming back off of injury, is a Belichick (player). If Belichick sits down with him and gets to know that personality and he comes from Brad Johnson, who’s an NFL-style quarterback who’s got some great moxie to him and some toughness to him. Now, that would be interesting to pay all this money to somebody and then not use them.”
