Arkansas-Little Rock point guard KK Robinson has entered the NCAA transfer portal. It will be the third transfer of his college career after previous stops at Texas A&M and Arkansas.

Robinson started all 28 games he appeared in for the Trojans to average 15.8 points. 5.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. He was named first team All-Ohio Valley Conference for his performance.

The 6-foot point guard is a former four-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting cycle out of Oak Hill Academy High School in Virginia. He ranked as the No. 59 overall player and No. 12 point guard according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

KK Robinson is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and began his career with the Razorbacks in 2020-21. He unfortunately managed to play only 11 games as a true freshman before suffering a season-ending injury. He returned the following year to average 1.5 points across 19 games with two starts.

Robinson would transfer to Texas A&M that offseason and go on to play 18 games for the Aggies. Now that he’s on the move again, it’s hard not to wonder whether he will consider returning to Fayetteville where it all started.

The Razorbacks have plenty of open spots on their roster with John Calipari set to take over in 2024-25. Walk-on forward Lawson Blake was the only player that Arkansas had when Calipari took over.

He’s since added a pair of transfers in former Kentucky 7-foot center Zvonimir Ivisic and former Tennessee center Jonas Aidoo. Three freshmen from Kentucky’s 2024 recruiting class also followed Calipari to Fayetteville.

Still, he’ll certainly need to add some experience in the backcourt. Given the ties that Robinson already has to the program and the impressive season he had in 2023-24, he could be the right fit.

Tennessee transfer center Jonas Aidoo commits to Arkansas

Former Tennessee center Jonas Aidoo has committed to join Arkansas via the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Joe Tipton. The commitment confirms what CBS reports first.

Aidoo averaged 11.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game as he helped lead Tennessee to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. Aidoo was also a defensive aid, serving to block 1.8 shots per game, a solid rim protector. At 6 foot 11, 241 pounds, he has excellent size in the post.

Prior to enrolling at Tennessee, Jonas Aidoo was a four-star prospect and the No. 40 overall player in the nation in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He also checked in as a the No. 7 center in the class and the No. 1 overall player in the state of North Carolina, hailing from Charlotte (NC) Liberty Heights Athletic Institute.
