4-star LB Brian Huff names top four schools
Jonesboro (Ark.) Valley View four-star linebacker Brian Huff has narrowed his list of top schools down to four. He will pick between Arkansas, Missouri, UCF and UNLV.
Huff is the No. 277 overall prospect and No. 29 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in Arkansas.
On3 rates Huff significantly higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300 he is the No. 155 overall prospect in the country, the No. 12 linebacker and the No. 2 player in Arkansas.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Missouri is the overwhelming favorite to land a pledge from Huff. The Tigers sit with a 90.8% chance to land his commitment.
“They speak to me every day and they love me over there. I’m at the top of their board,” Huff said of the Tigers to On3’s Sam Spiegelman in March. “That was awesome to hear. That’s a great school. It’s the SEC and knowing that they want me that bad is a great feeling.”
While Missouri may be trending, the in-state Razorbacks aren’t far off according to Huff since Travis Williams was named Arkansas’ defensive coordinator.
“Coach T-Will that’s my dude,” Huff said. “Since he got to the school they’ve shown me love. We talk every day, they’ve gotten me on visits and I’m up there all the time. It’s in-state and not far from home.”
