The latest InterMat college wrestling individual rankings were updated after Week 6 of the regular season and there was some noteworthy movement.

It should be noted this is the last week InterMat will keep inactive wrestlers in the rankings. By Week 7, if a wrestler does not have a match wrestled to that point, they will be removed for the time being.

Let’s dive into InterMat’s latest individual college wrestling rankings.

125 pounds

Jakob Camacho NC State Wrestling
(NC State Athletics)

1. Jakob Camacho – NC State (1)
2. Anthony Noto – Lock Haven (2)

6. Michael DeAugustino – Michigan (6)
7. Dean Peterson – Rutgers (7)
8. Caleb Smith – Nebraska (9)
9. Matt Ramos – Purdue (10)
10.
Eric Barnett – Wisconsin (11)

There really weren’t any changes here. The top seven stayed the same this week and Figueroa stayed in despite no matches. Barnett is in the top 10 once again as he moved up one spot.

133 pounds

Lehigh Athletics

1. Ryan Crookham – Lehigh (1)

This weight class saw no changes this week. Crookham is still undefeated and at 10-0, looks like a legit national title contender. Arujau and Fix might have something to say about that in March though.

Not much activity across the weight class as the top 10 stayed the same after the sixth week of the season. The top three are all undefeated and Mauller is making a run at 7-0 at No. 5. It’s a stacked weight this year.

Another weight class with no changes this week. With the holidays coming off, the schedules taper off aside from Midlands later this month. Olejnik has been really impressive: he’s 13-0 this year.

1. Parker Keckeisen – Northern Iowa (1)

This weight class actually remained unchanged through the top 13 wrestlers across the country. Keckeisen is 10-0 on the year and Plott’s been very impressive, going 13-1 to this point.

197 pounds

285 pounds

NWCA Coaches Association/Tony Rotundo

9. Tyrell Gordon – Northern Iowa (9)
10. Dayton Pitzer – Pittsburgh (14)

The top nine remained unchanged this week but Pitzer moved into the top 10 with his 6-1 start. This is his debut in the top 10 this year. Hendrickson has just one match so we hope to see the Air Force star more active in the coming weeks.

More action is to come later this month and then once we get into January, conference duals begin. At that point, these rankings could vastly change week-to-week. For the full set of rankings, click HERE.
