As of Sunday, the Final Four has its teams that’ll take the court and play for a national title in the last games of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Now, per the NCAA on Monday, the event has the eleven officials who will be on the floor with them in the Alamodome.

Per a release from the NCAA this afternoon, the referees for Final Four have been announced. There were recommended by Chris Rastatter, the national coordinator of officiating, and have since been approved by the Division I Men’s Basketball Committee.

Roger Ayers (7th Final Four)
James Breeding (6th Final Four)
AJ Desai (1st Final Four)
Courtney Green (2nd Final Four)
Ronald Groover (7th Final Four)
Michael Irving (1st Final Four)
Keith Kimble (7th Final Four)
Terry Oglesby (6th Final Four)
Tony Padilla (6th Final Four)
Doug Shows (6th Final Four)
Doug Sirmons (10th Final Four)

“Collectively, this group of officials have done an exceptional job officiating in the tournament,” said Rastatter in the release. “Similar to how teams advance in the tournament with exceptional performances, these officials have been deemed the best amongst their peers and therefore advance to work on the biggest stage at the Final Four. Among the many officials who have performed well in the tournament the last two weeks, this group separated themselves.”

This list has been cut down from the total of forty that called the games last weekend in the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight. All eleven were among the names on that list from last weekend.

Designations for the three games in the Final Four will come later in the week. The release shared that those announcements will come out before the semifinal games on Saturday.

Being a part of the Final Four is an honor for everyone involved in it from the teams and coaches all the way to the officials. These eleven have now earned that recognition with their approval to call these games by the NCAA.
