Westfield, Indiana – The live period had arrived, and gyms were buzzing. College coaches were sitting courtside to get their first April live viewing in three years. With all three primary shoe circuits playing, On3 decided to park at Under Armour to get a good feel for their talent.  Here are the On3 Awards for Under Armour Circuit Session 1.

Most Valuable Player

6-4 PG Elmarko Jackson, We R 1

Coming into this weekend, Elmarko Jackson was already the 2023 On3 Consensus No. 76 overall player. He did nothing but improve his stock in front of our eyes at the event. Jackson has an elite frame with elite speed; that got him this ranking. Now, he is playing with pace and, most importantly, consistently knocking down shots. The first live weekend could not have gone any better for Jackson.

Status: Has taken unofficial visits to St. John’s, Miami, and VCU (all offered). Michigan and Butler were courtside watching (not offered).

Most Outstanding Player

6-11 Post JP Estrella, Middlesex Magic

JP Estrella came out of Under Armour Session 1 as one of the big week one winners. After his high school season at South Portland (ME) High ended, he started to pick up some steam. Over the last month or so, things really started to move, and then four or five offers came through over the weekend. The upside is easy to see with Estrella. At 6-foot-11, he moves very well, he is tough around the basket, and he can make a play with the ball. He was a double-double every time he stepped on the floor this weekend and added two to three blocks per game and that put him in On3 Awards status. Still developing, there is a lot to like with his current game and even more to enjoy looking toward the future.

Status: Has taken unofficial visits to Syracuse, Providence, and Tennessee. Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Maryland, and Virginia Tech offered this weekend.

Best in (under)class

6-6 SF Efeoso Uliogu, Canada Elite

Efeoso Uliogu is only a class of 2025 player, playing up two age groups; he was the best player on the floor in both games I caught him this weekend. At a lengthy 6-foot-6 and 205-pounds, he already carries a great frame. His balance and burst when attacking the rim get him many looks at the rim and fouls. The jump shot needs tweaking at its load, but the release is soft and consistent. There is no denying Uliogu will be one of the top players in the 2025 class as he continues to progress.

Status: Offers from Oregon, DePaul, Washington State, etc.

Defensive Player

6-3 PG Silas Demary, Jr., Team Curry

It is no secret Silas Demary, Jr. is an elite defensive guard. His instincts and ability to create turnovers are second to none, from the guard position, on this circuit. Where On3’s No. 96 player enhanced his stock, here was playing the point guard. His handle and ability to take care of the ball were impressive. Demary, Jr. touched the paint, and he made reads. His defense is what got him his ranking and his On3 Awards nod, but his consistent play as a point guard will be what wins him a lot of games in college.

Status: Offers from VCU, Providence, St. John’s, Texas A&M, etc.
