FSU Football collective The Battle's End announces 500K donation match program
Florida State’s top NIL collective, spurred by FSU fans’ defiance to the College Football Playoff committee’s decision this past Sunday, is continuing a run of exponential growth with the largest single pledge in its first year of existence.
In addition to a recent membership surge — one that has seen the collective nearly triple in size — The Battle’s End has announced its largest donation to date. In an interview with Warchant‘s Jeff Cameron, CEO Ingram Smith announced a $500,000 match program that will run through Wednesday, Dec. 20.
“Any kind of one-time gift or membership will be matched up to half a million dollars,” Smith said. “The drive here is to try to push for 5,500 members.”
According to Smith, since Sunday afternoon, the FSU collective has added over 2,200 members. And as of Friday morning, The Battle’s End has a membership count in the 3,500 range.
“People are angry. It’s Friday, and it still hurts and it still sucks,” Smith said. “And in the pit of your stomach, you still feel like you were cheated as a fan, as a coach, as a player. But all you can do is respond and kudos to this fanbase who responded in incredible fashion.

“I know that there’s a lot of support for Seminole Boosters as well. And that’s a very appropriate avenue as well and I would encourage people to give them consideration.”
