Georgia listed as early favorites over two SEC rivals in 2023
Georgia already looks like a big favorite against a couple of SEC East rivals. At least, that’s according to FanDuel’s way-too-early college football odds list.
We already know Georgia should carry the ‘favorite’ tag into each of its 2023 regular-season games.
By this time of year – pre-spring practice – it’s just interesting to see what the Dawgs look like on paper against a couple of ‘dogs.
FanDuel picked Florida and Tennessee as its ‘big-time’ matchups in a list of other high-profile college football games for the 2023 season, so let’s take a look at each one.

Maybe Georgia’s true path runs through Knoxville, Tennessee…
And that’s where FanDuel’s odds get somewhat more interesting, but not by a ton.
According to the hypothetical list, you’re looking at a 7-point spread in Georgia’s favor on Rocky Top.
Kirby Smart already put the Josh Heupel hype in its place each of the last two seasons. Georgia beat Tennessee by a combined score of 68-30 in those games.
One of them was in Knoxville in front of a raucous crowd for about a quarter-and-a-half. The other was against the then-number-one-ranked team in the country.
Georgia isn’t taking a step back in 2023, in all likelihood. Whatever Tennessee has going for it by the time these two teams meet up in November, Georgia should still be favored to win the game.
