COLUMBUS — Ohio State is full-tilt on the 2024 recruiting cycle.

Despite that the 2023 cycle doesn’t officially end until Feb. 1, the quote-unquote late signing period, the Buckeyes have expectedly signed all of the 2023 prospects it will take. That brings the 2024 cycle into full focus for head coach Ryan Day, general manager Mark Pantoni and the rest of the Ohio State staff.

The Buckeyes already have three prospects committed to their 2024 class, which ranks third nationally. Wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, offensive lineman Ian Moore and linebacker Garrett Stover currently make up the class.

This will have to be a sizeable class for Day and his staff. Something to the tune of 24-27 prospects would suffice.

It all starts with the offense, and the most important position of the game — quarterback.

In the latest episode of the Lettermen Lounge the Lettermen Row staff lays out the possibilities for Ohio State at quarterback, running back and wide receiver.

Matt Parker and Spencer Holbrook are back in the Lettermen Lounge where the 2024 conversation starts off with quarterback. The Buckeyes lost five-star Chandler (Ariz) quarterback Dylan Raiola‘s commitment in December, so they have to go in a new direction. Day and quarterback coach Corey Dennis visited four-star Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis in recent days and offered Alabama commit Julian Sayin.

The conversation continues with the discussion of running back and how four-star Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller standout Jordan Marshall has to be the top priority tailback. The show then dives into how wide receiver is built around five-star Jeremiah Smith.

So kick back, relax and check out the show in the video down below.
