The Penn State offense has talent. Let's start by saying that compiling this list of high-ceiling players from a roster full of great options was difficult. The list expanded from five to ten to accommodate the number of players worthy of inclusion.  But we're not going strictly by raw talent. Unlike previous iterations of this list, we're only ranking players who can realistically contribute this year, so freshmen like Peter Gonzalez, Garrett Sexton, or Eagan Boyer aren't under consideration today. Here are our criteria.  Physical skills necessary to be a standout player or difference maker in their position  They have to be able to reach that ceiling realistically or close to it this upcoming season.  Must be on a path to contribute in 2024 Players who have reached some version of their ceiling, such as Nick Singleton or Kaytron Allen, won't be included. So, consider this list less about the ceiling and more about the upside. If Penn State's offense is going to improve this year, which players can take the biggest strides and provide that development? Here's the first half of that list.
