UCLA transfer tight end Carsen Ryan commits to Utah

After entering the NCAA transfer portal, former UCLA tight end Carsen Ryan has committed to Utah.

Ryan heads back to his home state following two seasons with the Bruins, recording six receptions for 82 yards as a true freshman before breaking out in 2023. In the most recent season, Ryan appeared in all 12 games for UCLA making eight starts, ending the year with 13 receptions, 205 yards, and three touchdowns.

Ryan played high school football at American Fork (UT), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 356 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
