23XI Racing teases Carolina blue paint scheme for Coca-Cola 600
When the Jumpan is your boss, you get to do cool things. 23XI Racing is teasing a Carolina blue paint scheme for Charlotte this year. In the coming week, we are going to see what could be one of the best paint schemes yet from the team still in its third year. The NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 is the perfect place for something this big.
We saw it when Kurt Busch ran the “black cement” Air Jordan III scheme in 2022 at Kansas. So, what will we see at Charlotte in a week? 23XI Racing has really done it with this teaser video, I just can’t wait to see what kind of design comes out of it.
There are some brands that are just legendary. The fact Jordan Brand is so involved in NASCAR is a cool thing. I just get chills watching this.
If I had to guess what this was going to be, I’d have to say it is going to be another shoe-inspired scheme. I’m thinking of the Jordan 11s in the Carolina blue colorway. Maybe we’ll see something else thrown our way, like a complete UNC Tar Heels scheme.
With so many great shoes over the years and designs, I’m sure the 23XI Racing team is going to have some absolute HEAT for Charlotte. I’d guess this would be a Tyler Reddick scheme, given that Bubba Wallace runs Columbia as his clothing sponsor.

23XI Racing dealing with penalties
Of course, 23XI Racing is just coming off of those Tyler Reddick penalties. Reddick was hit with a 10-point deduction after a modification was found during tech. He lost his crew chief for the race at Darlington and it moved him down a few spots in the point standings.
However, it isn’t all bad news. Darlington was a major points day for Bubba Wallace. Wallace was able to move from 18th to 15 in the standings. It was a move made possible by the further absence of Alex Bowman as well as a strong day in the first and final stages of the race.
Both drivers are in the top-16 in points. Reddick is locked into the playoffs with the win from COTA. Now Wallace is looking to punch his ticket in and make sure he isn’t sweating it out at the end of the regular season.
10 points isn’t a lot. Tyler Reddick can overcome that and keep things moving along. Overall, it looks like things are on the up and up for 23XI Racing.
