WATCH: Logan Paul debut at Wrestlemania features crazy entrance, controversial finish

Logan Paul’s Wrestlemania debut was flashy from the intro and delivered plenty of moments for the Dallas crowd to boo him, including a wild finish. Taking the ring with his recent $900,000 trading card purchase around his neck, Logan Paul and his tag team partner, The Miz, antagonized the crowd from the moment they stepped onto the stage.
Logan Paul shines at Wrestlemania
The events leading up to Wrestlemania always set the stage for grudge matches, and Paul’s antagonizing of his opponents Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio were no exception. Their Wrestlemania match began in fairly normal fashion as Paul was allowed to showcase his athleticism early before the veteran wrestlers shined. As the match reached its turning point, Paul began to shine as he leaned into his role as the bad guy.
Paul frequently interrupted when not tagged into the match, including a saving dive as The Miz was nearly pinned. The match reached a climax as Paul began to embarrass his opponents with moves from their own catalogs, including a Three Amigos trio of suplexes. Paul followed with a classic Mysterio move from on top of the ropes, the Frog Splash, and was set to win the match.
After Paul was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, the father and son duo proceeded to turn the fight around with an iconic Wrestlemania moment — performing the 619 iconic move together on Paul.

Immediately after, the Mysterios finished with back-to-back Frog Splashes of their own on Paul, and Paul was nearly pinned in dramatic fashion. At the final moment, The Miz interfered by slamming Dominik Mysterio onto his father during the pin. In the ensuing chaos, The Miz finished the fight with a final blow and pin of his own, giving Paul the win at Wrestlemania.
From there, Paul was subjected to one last surprise on the Dallas stage — a betrayal from his tag team partner as they celebrated in the ring.
Paul’s debut was a fantastic show for the fans, and the possibility of him continuing with his new storyline as The Miz’s opponent is sure to keep him around for a while longer.
