LOOK: NBA star pulls up to ACC showdown
Trae Young has been on fire, leading the Atlanta Hawks to six straight victories. After defeating the Boston Celtics on Friday, Young took advantage of the Hawks day off to witness some basketball as a fan.
On Saturday, Young pulled up the the ACC showdown between Miami and Georgia Tech.
As you can see, Young is providing the young athletes with a star in the crowd. When he’s been on the court, the former Oklahoma star has been one of the best players in the entire NBA.
Thus far through the 2021-22 season, Young is fifth in the league in points per game — averaging 27.5. Additionally, the Hawks star point guard is averaging 9.2 assists per game, as well as 4.0 rebounds per game.
While Young’s absence earlier this season caused the Hawks to get into a hole, he’s helping the team climb out. At the moment, Atlanta is now tied with the Washington Wizards for the tenth spot in the Eastern Conference. Moving forward, the team could keep climbing as they follow Young to the promise-land.

More on Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks
After beginning the month of January with six straight losses, the Hawks have rattled off straight wins. In the process, Atlanta has worked their way back into the playoff picture after many began to write them off.
Coming off an Eastern Conference Finals appearance, the word around the league was Trae Young and the Hawks were on the come-up. While the beginning of their season didn’t do them any favors, the team is re-establishing themselves as a squad to be reckoned with.
If January is any indication, the Hawks will go as far as Young can carry them. Moving forward, the team will hope to become a more consistent winner as the playoffs draw near in the tough Eastern Conference.
