The 2022 NFL Hall of Fame class was introduced for the first time at the 2021 NFL Award ceremony, including eight legends that have shaped the game of football into what it is today. The group ranges from former referees, to former head coaches, to stars from several areas throughout NFL history.

“Each member of this great class represents the values of the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” NFL Hall of Fame President Jim Porter said. “We look forward to honoring them in August.”

Here are the names that will be immortalized in Canton, Ohio this year:

Cliff Branch: A regular season star, a postseason hero and most importantly, a Raider for life. Branch was a three-time Super Bowl champion in Oakland.

Richard Seymour: An All-Decade talent most know for his time as a member and cornerstone of the New England Patriots’ defense, the selfless, versatile Seymour led the Pats to the promise land time and time again.

Art McNally: Synonymous with integrity and his impact on the officiating game is unprecedented, McNally will now become the first field official to ever be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.

Tony Boselli: If you faced Boselli on the offensive line, you were going to have a long, long day. He was destined to be enshrined in Canton from the start as one of the most dominant tackles of the 1990s and the first ever Jacksonville Jaguar to be elected to the NFL Hall of Fame in franchise history.

Dick Vermeil: Vermeil brought three different franchises from the brink of collapse and took them to the promise land. Most recently, he coached the Kurt Warner-led St. Louis Rams to an improbable Super Bowl victory during the 1999-2000 season

The Class of 2022 will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug. 6 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
