PFF names top 25 rookies of 2021 season
Pro Football Focus has named their top 25 rookies from the 2021 season. Among them, stars who burst on the scene like Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons and Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase lead the way.
Multiple rookies have made such an impact that their teams were elevated far into the playoffs. No one did so more than Chase, as the wide receiver is part of the reason the Bengals are gearing up for the AFC Championship.
Additionally, Mac Jones rose above his draft-mates to become the best rookie quarterback in 2021. In his first season with the New England Patriots, Jones took the team back to the playoffs after one year off.
Moreover, late round gems made their impact as well. While the Detroit Lions waited until the fourth round to select wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, the former USC star was pugnacious all season long.
