WATCH: Joe Burrow uses iconic meme to describe Ja'Marr Chase

Cincinnati Bengals and former LSU teammates Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase had a field day together on Sunday versus the Chiefs. The duo connected for three passing touchdowns and 11 total receptions.
Their insane connection led Joe Burrow to liken his actions to a popular NFL meme.
“Everyone knows that meme,” Burrow said. “‘F it, Ja’Marr’s down there somewhere.’ Just throw it up to him, he’s going to make a play.”
The former Heisman winner and collegiate national champion went 30 of 39 for 446 passing yards and four scores. Ja’Marr Chase on the receiving end had a career day with 266 yards on 11 catches and three scores. He scored touchdowns from 72, 18 and 69 yards out.
On the year, the rookie receiver has 1,429 receiving yards on 79 catches with 13 touchdowns.
With their 34-31 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Bengals have clinched the AFC North division title for the first time since 2015. The Bengals’ big win pushed them into the third seed, if the AFC playoffs began today, and put them within striking distance of Kansas City for next week.

Burrow addresses late-game injury
Joe Burrow wasn’t in for the final plays of Sunday’s game due to an apparent injury. As the Bengals clinched a spot in the playoffs, the fans simultaneously worried about their young star quarterback.
Burrow claimed after the game that the injury was nothing serious and a result of prior soreness. If the former LSU Tiger was injured, his postgame celebration with his teammates didn’t show it. The Bengals players celebrated as Burrow smoked a cigar, all wearing their AFC North Champion shirts.
While it wasn’t clear initially what happened specifically to Burrow, after the play that injured him he sat on the field for a moment holding onto his leg. The Bengals opted not to take a chance on anything serious and pulled him out of the game for their final play, a kneel-down to set up a field goal.
