See the link below. From the article:

”UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Alumni Association connects Penn Staters to the things they care most about at Penn State, and for many alumni this includes the continued success of the Intercollegiate Athletics program.

Since 2021, the NCAA has permitted student athletes to receive compensation through endorsement, sponsorship, and other means for the use of their name, image and likeness (NIL).

While there are some limitations on NIL activities that University-related entities can participate in, the Alumni Association is working to inform alumni, local chapters and alumni interest groups that they can play an active role in supporting NIL.

The association strongly encourages those interested in participating to go through Penn State’s preferred collective, Happy Valley United. “We would like to offer our endorsement of the considerable work done by many highly successful and engaged Penn State alumni to form the Happy Valley United collective,” says Paul Clifford, CEO of the Penn State Alumni Association.

“To continue to compete at the highest levels in college athletics, we must win on the NIL playing field as well.  We will do so in a way that is consistent with our tradition of success with honor and for the glory of Penn State,” Clifford says.

“While we know that supporting our student-athletes in this way is new to our fans, we believe in this trusted group of alumni and appreciate their efforts to build a program that reflects Penn State’s mission and values.”“

If anyone is paying $2K+ to attend the NIL event in Avalon, NJ this week, does that include an autograph session with the above mentioned CEO?

I didn’t recognize it earlier, but it became abundantly clear after the 11.9/11 fiasco that our Alumni Association CEO is simply a mouthpiece for a corrupt BOT
