Can be treated, not cured, how successfully depends on the burden of metastasis (how much and where spread) at the time discovered and treated. The younger at diagnosis, typically the more aggressive the cancer. I believe this took out author Vince Flynn ( Mitch Rapp series) in his late 40s-very rare at this age.
