No way. The NFL Network guys were all over this in the morning. College QBs really don't play in the cold. Games end at Thanksgiving, not in January like the NFL. Hand size is important in gripping the football and being able to drive it in the cold and wind.

There is a reason for the 9-in minimum threshold. The NFL guys also rattled off a list of 20 QBs who came in at 8.5 in or lower in the last two decades. It's a who's who of NFL nobodies.

You don't give up 2 first round picks on that kind of gamble if you're Pittsburgh. Let some warm weather or dome team take a flyer on Pickett.

Absolutely not. No way in hell should they do that. Load up on OL and secondary and wait for the QB you want. No QB in this draft is worth that draft capital.
