He might be available at pick 20 and I still wouldn't take him.Discussed on Pburgh sports radio this morning. If you were the Steelers would Pickett be worth this years #1 and #2 and next years #3 to move up and grab him. I say no...Pittsburgh gave up the same picks to go get Devon Bush. That worked out great didn't it!
No way. The NFL Network guys were all over this in the morning. College QBs really don't play in the cold. Games end at Thanksgiving, not in January like the NFL. Hand size is important in gripping the football and being able to drive it in the cold and wind.Discussed on Pburgh sports radio this morning. There is a reason for the 9-in minimum threshold. The NFL guys also rattled off a list of 20 QBs who came in at 8.5 in or lower in the last two decades. It's a who's who of NFL nobodies.
You don't give up 2 first round picks on that kind of gamble if you're Pittsburgh. Let some warm weather or dome team take a flyer on Pickett.
I don't want the Liberty guy at 20 either....go rebuild the OL!He might be available at pick 20 and I still wouldn't take him.
Trubisky!I don't want the Liberty guy at 20 either....go rebuild the OL!

+1. When I first saw that article about the Liberty QB going to the Steelers I thought it was an Onion piece.I don't want the Liberty guy at 20 either....go rebuild the OL!
He could be hung like a horse! Remember..it's quality not quantity! How are pickett’s measurables? 8.5”

True. But I'm not taking that chance on a QB. They need help at QB but there is no one in the draft that warrants the Steelers taking them with their first pick.Well Mean Joe Greene came from a small school.
Seems like a good kid though.+1. When I first saw that article about the Liberty QB going to the Steelers I thought it was an Onion piece.

It still is smaller. Did you ever notice he wears gloves on both hands even in good weather? Not only that, but isn't the college ball a little smaller than the NFL ball?? ...I thought it was at one time, but maybe that has changed. If so, all the more reason not to draft a QB with smaller hands.
Absolutely not. No way in hell should they do that. Load up on OL and secondary and wait for the QB you want. No QB in this draft is worth that draft capital.Discussed on Pburgh sports radio this morning. Lots of teams looking at Mitch. Bills coaches give nothing but praise to Mitch.Trubisky!
Dumbest s** ever, can the kid sling it or not and the answer is yes. The Underwear Olympics are the biggest waste of time ever.
