us to water down the schedule again because of the transfers. Look for Nov games against Colgate, Valley, and Texas Southern preconference to get us ready for SEC play

well as far as non conference, I believe we play at Cincy next year. Plus, anyone that thinks that Brian Johnson will start the 4 over Osby is on crack. Ive seen this guy play and he could have come off the bench for us last year. With Rhodes gone and possibly going to a versatile lineup, he'll flourish. He has guard ball handling skills and can post up.

If Gordon leaves:

pg: Bost
sg: Stewart
sf: Ravern
pf: Osby
pf/c: Varnado

Then u got B. Johnson, Bailey, Turner, Augustus, Benock, coming off the bench.

but for Ricky to start a true freshmens, they better be damn good. I wouldnt be surprised to see this line-up in game 1:

Randy Stewart
Turner
Ravern
Bailey
Swat

Ricky has always been loyal to older players. Just something to think about.

You mean like he was when he benched the Delks in favor of Ben and Randy?

If Ravern can fill the position like we all think he can, and Osby can step up we might have a chance to get back to the dance. If Gordon comes back it should be a fairly easy transition since Ravern and a PF will be the only new faces starting.

If Varnado improves his offensive game a little he could be SEC POY

that happened later in the season. see, in Coach's post, he says something about game 1. that means the 1st game of the season. that is also usually the time when experience trumps potential.

if Swat gains 15-20 ilbs or more in the offseason, SECPOTY and Freshmans of the Year for Osby are a real possibility.

Coach34 for Rubbber Slinger of the year!!

Didnt one of the Delks start like every game for us last year?

**edited to add**- one Delk started every game, and the other started all but 2

If Osby does not start he will be transferring in the future, he will be our best scoring threat if J-Money leaves.

I seem to remember Richard Delk making a clutch block at the end of the UK game in the SEC Tourney last year. But you are correct, they never played in the clutch.

would you as an athlete, rather START or get rougly equal minutes but be in the game when it counted?

Even this longhair(I couldn't play for Rick) knows that any athlete would rather have the game on his(her?) shoulders.

Surely you learned this from coaching JV girl's volleyball those 3 years, right Peaches?
