Ehh if we were doing most important I’ll go Shaw. But I think Garcia was even better than Shaw. Shaw had a better team around him than Garcia as well. I wish Garcia would’ve stayed out of trouble he could’ve went down as a all time great
Honestly I’ll say Clowney, Lattimore, and Jeffrey was the best at their position in the SEC when they played so I see why they are top 3 and Shaw being top 4 is respectable.
All those top 5 or 6 were great. If by "top" we mean the best I gotta say Clowney was the best. Most dominate player I've seen at USC.
Yep, Lattimore and Jeffrey was right behind him. Jeffrey and Clowney demanded double teams while Lattimore is still breaking UGA tackles today
UGA had hired a dc they thought was going to be "hot stuff". Todd ?? came from the Dallas Cowboys and he was bringing NFL know how. ML ate his defense up. Ripped them up. SOS made an off hand remark as he was wont to do that they must not see much of what USC's run game did in the NFL. Todd ?? got his panies in a wad and made smart a** comments back to SOS. Next year ML ripped Todd's d to pieces again but in truth so did most other SEC teams. Todd ?? has bounced all over the SEC since then. Not sure where he's at now.
