Gimmicks like this dilute the power and majesty of the White Out. When every game is "special" none are.The E sections of the stadium will be asked to wear blue and the remainder of the stadium will wear white to look like the helmet.
I'm wearing whatever keeps me warm...and no, I'm not going to throw on a white garbage bag. You can consider myself and the thousands of others who wear warmth to be helmet stickers.
Whether with a garbage bag or 3M Scotch Brite, make it dazzle. There is a reason why the whole world of college football agrees that Beaver Stadium offers the most magical stadium experience. And recruits absolutely love it.
I was downtown before the stripe out game with my family. These gimmicks boost the local SC economy a ton. Every clothing store was rockin' with huge lines of people buying shirts for their respective section. (I was one of them after forgetting my white long sleeve). I'm sure all of the other businesses benefited somewhat as well, which is well needed after last year.I kind of like it, since we're one of the few teams who can actually do something like this (let's see Michigan do the same thing!). But, yeah, stadium gimmicks are better in small doses, but we need every advantage we can get this year.

PSU Athletics said it's definitely not a night game, though a 3:30 kick will likely be dark at the end.Good thing we don't have numbers on the helmets.
Do we know the kickoff time for Michigan? Could be a daytime white-out, have we had one of those yet?
USC tried to copy the Pitt camo-out and did a pretty good job (below) ... but nobody can beat the bestNo orange or camo though.
