Damn, the wife came home from Kohl’s and put on Hallmark. I missed the touchdown while getting back to the game.

I hate saying this but we want a Buckeye win today, right? I think an IU win probably bumps PSU out of a home game in the first round. Might even put PSU on a bubble depending on how other games go and how PSU looks these last two games.

we probably want an Ohio St win yeah but I will say it again, there is ZERO chance that PSU is on the bubble if we win out, and next to no chance that we don't host a playoff game

helluva catch for a Rutgers touchdown before the half against Illinois
One of the dudes on the Fox halftime show made an off-handed comment regarding Illinois being Penn State’s only ranked win as they were showing highlights. I can’t imagine it’ll be helpful if Rutgers wins.

I came here to say that Rutgers is beating Illinois 17-9 at the half. I can’t imagine this helps us at all.

Mark Ingram just took the opportunity to point out that “this is the same Illinois team that is penn state’s best win”.

Every talking head wants to dog us, yet in the next breath, they point out what a great win we were for OSU.

Indiana reminds me a lot of us in this game.

how much did Indiana just pay their head coach?

We can whine about it all we want, but perception is reality. The perception is that while we have a good loss, we don't have a good win.

That's why I think if we drop one of our last two, we are out.

Still think it was a good move. If they truly want to be serious about football, gotta start somewhere and show you are serious. Now, time may show 8 yrs and that amount was foolish.

I will never understand a school that pays a coach an ungodly amount of money based on one season.

We can’t help most of the B1G is avg at best and that WV is avg. Not like we ICA knew all our OOC opponents would be complete dogshit when they were scheduled.

Not whining. I actually agree with it. But call it fair. You know what we DONT HAVE? A loss to an unranked team like Vandy, Arkansas, GaTech. These clowns are just looking for reasons to put Bama, Tennessee, or Miami ahead of us.

Considering the mood of all these keyboard "sports experts" and studio talking heads, we could win both of our games convincingly and we could still get "dropped out" because of SOS and the eye test. SEC pundits are working overtime behind the scenes to make sure that we have SEC drilled into our heads all the time.

Apologies...didn't mean you personally were whining. I meant the fan base in general.

Vaunted Georgia, who continues to get stroked by every talking head despite several shaky wins, is struggling to put UMass away in the 1st half.

Miami in a battle with Wake Forest, Ole Miss in a battle with 5-5 Florida, those SEC people are full of crap

edit...,I know Miami isn't in the SEC.....let's say that the talking heads in general are full of crap
