And then Nebraska misses an INT that was right in the defenders hands. Have to make those type of plays when you are the underdog.
Only a handful of the noon games look interesting to me. OSU @ Nebraska. Hoping for the upset. Illinois @ Minnesota. How will the Gophers handle being in the divisional driver's seat? Wake Forest @ UNC. Are the Demon Deacons the real deal or the beneficiary of a weak schedule thus far?
Also, at 3:30 #3 MSU is only a 2.5 point favorite @ Purdue. That'll be an interesting one.

UNC fumbled on their first offensive play. Wake took it to the 1 before an illegal formation helped stall the drive; they settled for a FG. NC then rammed it down their throats for a TD.
The biggest issue I see with CJ is his refusal to run and get a few yards.
He doesn't have a great deep ball either, but he's highly accurate otherwise.
No idea how he handles pressure; he never sees any.
Watching some Illinois v Minny, it looks like Minny is having trouble with the 7 man OL + 2 TE gimmick. Rutgers certainly did not seem to have problems shutting down Illinois.
Last week OSU offensive linemen wore white gloves to mask holding against PSU in white uniforms. This week they're wearing red gloves to match Nebraska uniforms.

Looks like we hit Illinois during their upswing. They are in position to knock off two ranked teams in 3 weeks. Might make our loss look not so bad if they pull out the W today.

Oh, it still looks horrible to all of us PSU fans. I'm just talking about the metrics used to determine rankings. Really just hoping for as many good things to happen these last 4 weeks. If Illinois winning against ranked teams is one of those good things, bring it on.
Get rid of them. Top 2 at the end plays for the conference title. If they have to protect some games, do so. Cap it at 2. Maybe 3. The rest rotate.
I’ve said before and say it again. The Big is overrated most years. One annually great team, two or three good teams, three average teams and the rest. Still good enough for 2nd best conference. However, closer to the pack then first.
Julian Fleming looks old, also did he pay for those tattoos? I guess that doesn’t matter any more.
Sparty in trouble against Purdue. That top five ranking for MSU didn't seem fitting just as it wasn't fitting for us or Iowa.
22 point underdog Tulsa loses 28-20 to Cincinnati. They turned the ball over on downs at around the Bearcat two yard line with about a minute to go. Cincy fumbled on the first play and Tulsa recovers at the three yard line. Again, Tulsa was unable to score. It sure doesn't help the Cincinnati argument to be in the playoff.

Was he playing some TE today? I thought I heard their radio guy say Fleming was in @ TE during a series today.
That high powered Hawkeye offense has scored 14 in the first half against a decrepit Northwestern team.
Wilson was out today. Fleming was on the field quite a bit. 2 catches 22 yards. He's got good hands, but nowhere near the speed of the Buckeyes primary 3.
There is no way Cincy is getting into the playoffs.. They way they played today, they know it too.
I really want to see a Non-P5 get into the playoffs, but after the way they have looked against Navy, Tulane, and now Tulsa, Georgia or Bama would beat them by 50.
In fact, I really believe they caught ND on the right week, if they played that game now, ND would win by a few scores. I hate ND also.
