When Croom was our coach, we went three consecutive years without having a player drafted at all. Now we have former players all over the league. It’s fun to see all the former Bulldogs doing well in the NFL.

"but his staff could evaluate." This is the part about the new "rules" that bothers me most. I always liked the way Mullen's crew seemed to be able to evaluate and develop talent and we got to watch some of those "jewels in the rough" develop into damn good football players. I'm afraid the portal is going to make it more difficult to hold these guys as they develop...and that's a shame.
