This game determines our season. Lose and NIT here we come.
Florida and Mississippi State both fall in Oxford but are still projected to make NCAA tournament,. Texas AM beaten at Vanderbilt but still in the discussion for the NCAA tournament.

Yeah, it’s not the end of our hopes for the tourny if we lose. But we need to win this one. More mentally than anything. Last week was rough. One absolute butt kicking and one game where we lost in the last seconds after blowing a 16 point lead. Need this one to get some confidence back.

That’s not the point. I’ve been around long enough to know when a team is about to spiral. If we lose this one, we’ll be spiraling.

It's worth noting that we are #58 in the NET rankings as of this morning. Florida is #30, Mississippi State is #36, and A&M is #49. I can't explain why the NET rankings have screwed us all year, but they have. The NET rankings are not all-determinative about who makes the tournament, but the committee does lean heavily on them. We do not have much margin for error over the final stretch.

No, a loss today doesn't put us out of the NCAA tournament mathematically, but an ugly 3rd consecutive loss does not bode well for the stretch run when we DO need to win some more games if we want to make the tournament. Losing this one today would put us in a very difficult spot.

If we lose, it does not bode well at all because this one of our more winnable games down the stretch.

These referees today are unbelievably bad. They are calling phantom crap. I’m running this stuff back and watching it and we’re not touching anyone and they call fouls. We’re getting hammered on drives whether they’re not touching the ball with no call. There’s been six referee extremely bad calls today all against us, I can’t stand it when a player flops and the referee behind the play calls the foul that he never saw. We should be up by 20. This many bad calls are game changers

Good win on the road as an underdog. Guess we stole one there. Nice to have some good news today after our football program lost Coley.

This guy deserves to be suspended for at least three more games. Glad Davis kept a cool head.

This was a really good team win. Everyone on the floor chipped in for this win. What is this three wins in a row playing in Oxford? Starting to feel like home away from home like Athens. .

Woooooah….I wasn’t able to watch most of the game live and completely missed that. Just watched the replay. If he isn’t suspended I would hope Tanner writes a *clears throat* “strongly worded” letter to the SEC offices.

Need killer offensive instinct. Got out scored in second half again.
Agree. We had a chance to turn it into a no-doubter in the first 10m of the second half. Instead we let them stay just close enough to have a chance. Turning 10-15 point leads into 20-25 point leads would have prevented both the Clemson and LSU comebacks and have us sitting at 24-3.

Didn't see the game. I was at my granddaughters first birthday party. But, I liked the final score. Proud of the guys for bouncing back and on the road no less. I'm sure it was a hostile environment. Let's start another winning streak!

What's up with Johnson? Seems like a liability out there, can't make a layup or hit crap & fouls twice on 3 pointers, 3 turnovers, wtf

WTH was that about? He deliberately threw a haymaker elbow. He needs to sit at least three games and maybe think about what he did but with his attitude I'm not sure it would do any good. Davis could have caused a melee by retaliating. Coach Paris coaching.

Davis came out of the opening tip on the guy like white on rice, and the young gentleman didn’t like Davis harshing his stage. Combine that with the fact that the place and the team were amped up and anticipating payback, and bingo.

Nobody predicted we were going to lose out. *** clown.
A comment was made after the Louisiana State game along the lines of "It is hard to see another win on South Carolina's schedule". Now I guess you can argue what they meant but some will imply that it meant South Carolina will not win another game on their schedule
