Overall, what are you thinking about this team vs last season

Defense - I am thinking the defense about the same as last year. Still will not stop the run but solid pass defense.

Offense - I am thinking big improvement here in both run game and pass game. Passing will be spread around.

Special Teams - punting falls off impacting field position. FG kicking a little better so ST about the same.

Record = worst case 7-6 and best case 10-3. I expect a 9-4 most likely and with the schedule that is a pretty good improvement. This assumes we get full season healthy Sean Clifford at his best. I am also assuming this year that JF will not play Sean if he gets hurt and playing far below 100%. In other words we get the best available healthy QB to replace SC if he gets hurt like previous years.

I agree. IF IF IF IF IF Psu can stay healthy at all positions, I'm confident 9-3 regular season. 10-2 is a real possibility if practice hype translates to game days. Assuming offense has the big leap forward, average scoring in the low to mid 30's should get us there. Last year we averaged just over 26 pts regular season.
