What are our biggest holes to fill? How hard do we need to hit the transfer portal?

2023 is a pretty favorable schedule. It would be nice if a favorable schedule could line up with a good roster.

Home games (2022 record):
-LSU (6-2)
-Alabama (6-2)
-Kentucky (3-5)
-Ole Miss (4-4)

Away games (2022 record):
-South Carolina (4-4)
-Arkansas (3-5)
-Auburn (2-6)
-Texas A&M (2-6)

2-2 at home, 2-2 on the road. 8-4 again. People who hate leach begin to rumble that it’s not enough to go 8-4 back to back.

Yea, we deserve to be in the bcs playoffs in year four in keeping with our illustrious history

leach will hold the all time record of top 25 wins in just his fourth year next year, but apparently not good enough for the blue blood fans

I see 4-5 conference wins maybe. UM and Kentucky aren’t given. The Blue Bloods are probable losses. Maybe they could win all four on the road but Rogers will have to be much better.
We’ll see about the OL but they’ve gotten better over the last three years. There is still enough talent in the receiving corps and they will probably get better. Arnette’s guys got better throughout the year but an experienced safety and corner would be nice to pick up. Offer Forbes some money to see if he’ll stay. The LB corps could use some faster guys. Try to get a QB to keep up competition.

We will win more than this year with a shot at a very good record. Will has to improve. leach is a pretty smart guy, I think he’s well aware of our current needs for improvement.

That's what I am picking now until I see what the portal holds and if Rattler goes pro or not. We are not that far from 9-11 wins if the legos are all connected back on defense

and that dumb rumbling would be incorrect as it would be a huge improvement. Tell me the las time we went 8-4 consecutive seasons?

Who all are we losing? Is Forbes going pro? We definitely need a viable backup QB especially if Will goes down. Unbelievable he was available every snap. How many teams can say that about their QB?

What is Cam Young doing? If he isn’t back, DLine really becomes an issue. Losing some key pieces in the secondary.

Cam is moving on. Heard he was excited about an invite to the Senior Bowl. Not sure he has any eligibility left

He has a year but I didn’t expect him back. dLine is a real issue and the secondary isn’t far behind. Lotta work to do.

Maybe he will come back then. Hope so. Some post was discussing portal transfers. There is a 5 star edge from T8&4, 4 star DL from the U 4 star RB from Louisville and a WR from Missouri

Will another World War help keep our streak alive? Those German Pilots screwed us outta our Natty but we sure had some strong teams back then.

Just need to keep those WTF moments to a minimum next year. Did I mention WR needs to find his IT factor?

I can guarantee you we will not be getting a starting QB out of the portal. Next year's starter is currently on our roster

The assumption is that next year's schedule is easier. SC is likely not as good as Georgia but they look to be on the rise. I suspect those other teams can be worse but they might actully be better. Does it really matter where we play LSU and Alabama?

Is there a difference between South Carolina and Georgia ? Yes a big one

does it matter if we play LSU at home or in Death Valley ? Yes quite a bit

That is a fact. SC is looking tough. Home is always better tho but you really never know how much teams will improve
