Adhel now has a timer for 13+ days for her commitment. I believe she still hasn't visited UNC so that means we were her last visit.

@CockyGirl I'm not well versed on Instagram. It looks like Dawn and her recently followed each other but I'm not sure if I'm reading that right.
They do follow each other. Adhel also follows most of the team as well. She also follows a lot of past players too!
Why is Dawn recruiting so many PGs. All of them can't play. I guess she is going to play some at the 2, maybe Fulwiley. Saw her some in HS and know that she is good at creating her own shot.
Dawn wants guards that can handle and pass no matter the position. Raven and PaoPao are PGs. Fulwiley played PG in HS because she has the handle and the vision but also in HS you put the ball in the best players hands. I doubt Fulwiley plays point except in blowouts. All three are 5’10” so they can defend both guard positions
It looks like someone is on campus bc Raven just posted to her stories a video of her in front of the backdrop they use for recruit visits.

Louisville fan here. Why do you think she will not visit UNC? There are still 2 weekends where UNC is playing FB at home, if they plan recruiting weekends around big games.
My thoughts are UNC has two freshmen post players which includes the #3 player Ciera Toomey. They also have a commitment this year from 6’5” Blanca Thomas. That would make Tac the fourth post player in a 2 year window.
Pretty positive the visitor is Kennedy Smith. Amihere posted a video to her stories from Dawn’s house and it looks like Kennedy and her mom in the background.
Just pure speculation on my part. Her releasing a commitment date without visiting all of her options seems like she's already made up her mind.
Toomey redshirting probably was the final straw for Adhel. That would mean she's would be sharing a class with both Toomey and Blanca.
predictions right now are Strong to NCSU, Cambridge to Ohio State and Edwards to🫣

I would think that if she is afraid of competition...them "Laywidthebutter" would be on her mind more than McDaniel
Her sister is at OSU. LSU has a freshman PG and another committed this cycle. UF has a 5* PG Commit. L’ville and Baylor need a PG Badly.

I think this has more to do with twins forgoing their own paths. Haley was the more talented twin and transitioned well while at Miami and Hanna was a bench warmer at Miami. I believe Hanna wanted to move on to something else and like many twins who did everything together she followed suit. I have no inside info but she just posted what appears to be the pics from her official visit to UCLA, which is definitely odd considering the timing. It does now make me think that South Carolina was her last official visit when it was previously reported that she had us and UCLA still remaining before this weekend. Of course, she could have visited UCLA way before last weekend since she is a local. Either way, I really hope to see the South Carolina visit pics soon haha
Looks like Sarah Strong is going to UCONN...
My assumption was we were never really in the running for Strong. She and Edwards were never going to the same place (a little premature I know)
I would rather see Strong at UCONN than at LSU. It looks like LSU is going to whiff after their #1 class. We also whiffed after the freshies signing only Russell, but we did bring in Cardoso.

LSU asst coach Gary Redus put out some very interesting tweets after their in home with Strong which made it sound like she had committed. He kind of looks like an idiot now if she is indeed UConn bound. LSU posters on their board are saying the only recruit he has pulled in was Morrow.
LSU On3 has an update on recruiting. Says Strong is still very much a battle between LSU and Uconn. Says they will do an in home with Joyce sometime the week after her Texas A&M visit and before her visit to us.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I think it is very likely they strike out on the recruiting trail this year. This will be rough with all they are losing after this year.
It’s hard to knock Mulkey’s success, she knows what she is doing, no matter whether I like or respect her.
That said, her last three classes of recruiting at Baylor were a significant down turn from the previous decade. She only signed 3 players total in those three years. Of course they were all 5 star. She inherited her first class at LSU which was not in the top 25. Her second class was ranked 17.
Obviously last year’s class was #1. That said, if she whiffs on her top 3, it merits a look see. It would mean that last year’s class would be a distinct outlier from the other 5 in that 6 year period.
Of course there are some explainable circumstances. Right now we stack classes to compete for national titles. Mulkey did that at Baylor. But if form holds, 5 out of her last 6 don’t even compete for league titles.
I am in no way saying she is over the hill or lost her touch. I’m just saying it’s worth paying attention to her results. Can she rebound with her ‘25 class or are they moving to a portal driven model
I don't see Iowa being ranked ahead of us at the end of the year. Czinano was the perfect complement for Clarke. She will be hard to replace....
