Some kid named Raiola. From Arizona...6-3 220....supposedly the top rated QB in the country when those rankings come out. I wonder how much NIL coin he is promised.

I've read

I've read that OSU is not involved with NIL deals for recruits but are pointing out that big NIL money is there if they establish themselves after they get to OSU. In fact, it's not just OSU but most of the big-time programs that have won conference championships and have playoff appearances in the last few years like Alabama. OSU, Clemson and Georgia and are flooding the NFL with players. I believe both PSU and Michigan are also taking this stance. If you look at the programs that have offered the INSANE deals to HS recruits so far, most have been away from the national spotlight for a while now

Might be, but this kid is free to sign any NIL deal he wants (and probably already has or will soon). No doubt the NIL folks from every collective have reached out.

Doesn’t look like a high school sophomore. Is he a legit high school sophomore or a Julian Fleming type of high school sophomore?
Speaking of Fleming, I've read on the OSU sites that the OSU coaches - especially Brian Hartline - are in awe of Fleming's physical skills. The problem with Fleming is that the kid just can't stay healthy for a full year. Don't know if it's just bad luck or what but Hartline - who knows something about WRs -, said that the sky is the limit if Fleming can just avoid the injuries. Not going to be easy though as he'll be competing with Marvin Fleming and that Egbuka (sp?) kid who both lit it up in the Rose Bowl when Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave both sat out.

Yeah, he's a big boy. 16 years old. His dad was an OL in the NFL for 14 years, was an All-American at Nebraska. Fact that he comes from a football family helps -- he's pretty mature for his age, and doesn't seem as enamored by all the NIL stuff.

Well sure, once you hit the big 4-0 the aches and pains begin to pile up. It happens to all of us.
