2024 Schedule Release Date

In past seasons we would already know Who AND When we play by now. As of now, all we know is who we play. Anyone know when we'll find out when we play our B1G opponents?

This late release has caused me a problem since I had to schedule my vacation dates for 2024 already. Normally I'd make sure to take off for the bigger games but that wasn't possible this year. The B1G needs to get on the ball and announce the dates for each game ASAP.

The Big doesn’t even know yet which all teams will be in The conference.

I would expect October or so for the release. Given the instability of conferences, seems to be the new normal for the Big Ten.

After this year, Penn State won't play Michigan at the Beave until 2027
Michigan State won't visit Penn State until 2027

Much better than originally: Illinois, Rutgers, Minnesota, UCLA in the pre-Oregon/Washington release from last year.

It's not really throwing darts. Looks like they are rotating home and way for teams pretty consistently, but there is often a 1 or 2 year gap between an opponents in order to rotate through everyone (except for the fixed game, which PSU still does not have any).

5 years was chosen because that was the smaller number of years to use where every school will play every other school home and away.

Hmm, so they shifted our game against USC from home to away for next year. When the pre-Oregon/Washington schedule came out, I assumed next year's Whiteout game would be the USC game. Now, it might be...Washington?

I think the B1G is going the ACC and SEC route and not announce dates until the spring before. TV and $$$ rules.
