Please use this thread to discuss the 2024 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team Trials, which are taking place on April 19 & 20, in State College, PA.
I'm setting this up as a single thread for the trials, though it's possible I'll modify the thread to just cover the 1st session on April 19, and create additional threads for the other sessions (to be determined).
My understanding is that @GregPickel will provide some coverage, but he's on vacation this week, so he deserves to enjoy that. My schedule is kind of busy during the daytime sessions on 4/19 and on 4/20, but I should be available to provide some coverage during the evening sessions.
Friday's TV coverage (all times EDT):
Session 1: 10:00 am - 3:45 pm, subscribers to Peacock can watch the competition.
Session 2: 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm, TV coverage on USA Network as well as on Peacock
Saturday's TV coverage (all times EDT):
Session 3: 10:00 am - 2:30 pm, subscribers to Peacock can watch the competition
Session 4: 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm, TV coverage on USA Network as well as on Peacock
You may be able to stream all of the competition on NBC.com. I'm not sure if you need to be a subscriber to Peacock to be able to make this work.
I'm still kicking myself for not going to this event. I've traveled every weekend for the past month, and up until Thursday evening last week I was planning to travel to PSU for the Blue-White weekend. I felt I needed a break from traveling, though as I indicated above, my "break" ended up becoming pretty busy schedules.
Here's hoping that many of you will contribute results, PBP, etc., and the thread is a great source of information.
